What this page is. The canonical home for Reality Index updates. Every post here is intended to be cited directly — each has a permalink, a date, and links to the underlying methodology. New posts go up when new data drops, when methodology revisions warrant a note, or when there is editorial commentary worth making on its own.
Cadence. Posts are not on a fixed schedule. BLS releases monthly; KFF releases annually in October; FHFA quarterly; CMS NHEA annually in December. New posts coincide with new data wherever a fresh number is worth flagging.
